About the artist: Cheryl Cordier attends the Community Art Project in Darlington. In her own words: "I have been coming to the Community Art Project in Darlington for several years. I like drawing, painting and colouring. I work slowly and I like doing the small details. It gives me time to think about what I am doing and think of ideas about what to do next. I love coming to the Art Project because it is fun and it makes me relax." In addition to numerous Community Art Project exhibitions, her work has been included in: 'Under a Blue Sky', Phoenix Artspace, Brighton 2022; 'Shelter', Outside In National Open, New Art Gallery Walsall and Sotheby's, London 2025 to 2026; and Outside In 'Artist of the Month', June 2025.
