About the artist: Michael Joyce attended the Community Art Project in Darlington, a council-funded project for adults with learning disabilities, for many years until 2023. His drawings and paintings have a unique style, mixing energy and spontaneity with surprising patience and care. In addition to various Community Art Project exhibitions in Darlington and beyond, his work has been included in 'Under a Blue Sky', Phoenix Artspace, Brighton.
